Implement: 2019 Run Clinic workout


This six-session clinic is designed to teach every runner, regardless of ability and background, how to improve their running. The clinic gives you the tools to improve your own running and understand the principles behind proper running form. Each runner will also have the opportunity to have an individual gait analysis and video done so that coach Nick can identify specific areas each runner needs to improve.

Each week the clinic will focus on one critical component of running and give participants the opportunity to learn how to refine their technique. The class is loaded with drills and techniques runners can take away to their own running warm-ups and programs to improve after the clinic. Following a structured approach, each session will give participants a chance to learn, practice, and implement so they will have the knowledge, skills, and expertise to improve their running.


The first component is educational, equipping every runner with the knowledge they need to understand what proper running is and how we can go about avoiding common issues.


Next, the runners will have the opportunity to test out running drills to correct and ingrain proper running mechanics. This section gives the runners the skills they need to continue improving at home.
